Sound Composition- Full Length

This sound composition was installed within speakers concealed in soft woven voids in Mother of the World (Um el-Dunya) (2024). It includes recordings of spoken language and songs sung by my father and drawn from archival recordings of my grandmother. Developed in collaboration with sound artist Nir Jacob Younessi, the composition moves between rhythmic celebration and siren-like alarm.
